Short version: we use what you give us to call you back about your job. That is it. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anybody else.
Last updated: January 2026
What we collect
Two things, and only two.
- What you type into the booking form. Your name, your phone number, the kind of job you need, and where you are. Nothing else. There is no hidden field, and we do not ask for an email address, a mailing address, or a payment card on this website.
- The fact that you called us. If you dial (850) 389-2182, our phone system records the number you called from and when. Calls to that line may be recorded or logged for quality and so we can call you back if the line drops — which, on a lockout, it sometimes does. If you would rather not be recorded, say so when we pick up.
What we do with it
We call you back about your locksmith job. That is the entire purpose, and it is the only purpose. We use your phone number to reach you, your location to get to you, and the job description to bring the right tools.
We keep a basic record of work we have done so that if you call again — a second rekey, a spare key for the same vehicle — we know what we did last time. That is normal business record-keeping, not a marketing database.
What we do not do with it
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with any other company. We do not hand your job to a third-party dispatch network — that model is exactly what we built this shop to be an alternative to, and it is the single most common way a locksmith lead gets passed around behind your back.
We will not add you to a mailing list. We will not text you offers. When your job is done, you will not hear from us again unless you call us.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not run advertising, and it does not carry ad-network trackers. We may use a basic, privacy-respecting analytics measure to see how many people visited a page and which page they arrived on. That data is aggregate — page counts, not people. It is not tied to your name or your phone number, and it is not used to build a profile of you or to follow you around other websites.
The site sets no cookies for tracking or advertising. Your browser may store ordinary technical things — nothing we use to identify you.
How long we keep it
Booking form entries and call logs are kept for as long as they are useful for servicing and following up on your job, and for the ordinary business and tax records any company has to keep. After that they are deleted.
When we would have to share something
Only if the law required it — a valid court order, a subpoena, or a law enforcement request we are legally obligated to answer. Locksmithing is a trade where that matters: we keep records of the ownership documentation we check before opening a property or vehicle (see our terms), and if a court asked for those, we would comply. Nothing else gets shared, ever.
Security
The booking form is submitted over an encrypted connection. We are a small shop, not a bank — we are honest about that. The mitigation is that we hold very little: a name, a phone number, and a street. Not collecting data is the best way to protect it.
Your choices
If you want to know what we have on file for you, or you want it deleted, call (850) 389-2182 and ask. We will do it. You do not need to submit anything in writing or quote a statute at us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes up on this page with a new date at the top. We are not going to quietly start selling your data and bury it in a revision.
